This wasn’t the journal entry i wanted to write for today, but oh well. We all know Taylor’s health isn’t great right now but most of that is due to her seizures. Now we get to throw in regular bouts of pneumonia.
She woke up this morning coughing and with a temperature. She went up and down all day so i asked Master if he thought she needed to be seen. At 4:30 her temp was 100 so Master told me to take her.
It was really no surprise to either of us when the doctor confirmed that she did indeed have pneumonia. Luckily, it is a mild case because it was caught early. Thank goodness for Master’s good judgment. i probably would have just tried to medicate her myself and then she would have just gotten worse.
i think that is one of the good things about leaving those decisions up to Master. i think sometimes i approach these type of issues in a jaded manner. i’ve been dealing with Taylor’s illnesses for so long that i sometimes think i can handle things that i shouldn’t be handling.
Because Master sent Taylor to the doctor today, she is on a good antibiotic and will recover much quicker. Hmmm…i guess my Master is one smart Dude…wonder why he picked me. *smiles*

The answer is simple you "silly little fairy," you're one smart chick, make that slave!!!! We all make some mistakes but give yourself the credit for the intelligence that you have. Besides i can't see your Master with an intellectually challenged slave. **smiles**

As moms, we try to handle things on our own. Doing the single mom thing, for any length of time, adds even more to it. Are you jaded, i do not know but do not think so. Are you being mom? Yes! If my Epona had a temp of 100, then i would not think twice about just giving her something OTC. Yet, she is not your princess whose issues are erratically different than mine own. You know what is in her best interest and you did what was best-give it to your Master...
