The 3 C's - Crazy Customers & Computers

i’m a little late with my journal entry tonight but it’s been some kind of day. There were lots of computers to work on and Master seems on a mission to get them done tonight. i’m scanning a hard-drive as i write this.

There is one computer that is proving to be a pain for Master. Actually, it appeared he had it fixed. He even left it on so they could see that it was booting up. They were really happy.

As it turns out, it’s a good thing because when she got it home, it wouldn’t boot up again. Master says his work space has an aura about it that makes computers work and i’m beginning to believe him. This is the craziest thing and i know it’s got to be frustrating him.

The customer saw it work. i saw it work. So taking it home and it not working makes absolutely no sense to me. However, the more time i spend in the world of personal computer repair, the less shocked i am by something like this. i’ve learned that and also, “never believe what the customer tells you. Always check things anyway.”

It is crazy, and I have just come to expect it (frustrating as it is) but you are learning the voodoo computer stuff!

I hope your leg feels better.

Love,
Master
