Watching the news this morning makes me scared for the direction our country is going. How is it wrong to ask hard questions of the Vice Presidential nominee? Why aren’t more people worried about what will happen in an Obama Whitehouse?

The fact of the matter is that too many Americans are thinking about the money that Obama has promised to put in their pocket. Do they not know history? President Clinton promised tax cuts and then got into the Whitehouse and raised taxes. He said he was reluctant to raise taxes but circumstances dictated his actions. Guess what? Expect the same from Obama.
It just isn’t possible to fix the economy by cutting taxes and giving out money. i’m ashamed to say that too many Americans are all about how they can get money without working for it. Sure, i would like to be rich, but i haven’t done anything to deserve lots of money. You don’t get money for being a good person. You get money because you worked your butt off for it.
People need to wake up and realize that even with all our problems, we are still the greatest democracy in the world. With Obama, we are headed more toward being a socialistic country.

If i wrote everything i felt right now, this journal entry would be 100 pages. All i can say is that i’m scared…more scared than i’ve ever been in my life when it comes to electing a President. The candidates i’ve wanted have lost before and while i was disappointed, i never felt this gut-wrenching fear that i have. Honestly, it wakes me up at night. Am i being paranoid? i don’t know. i just know that i’ve never been more passionate about a Presidential election than i am this one.
Some days i just want to run out into the street and scream at the top of my lungs, “wake up America”!

The whole socialist direction that Obama wants to take this country, is so much like Communism, I cannot believe it.
The refusing to talk to anyone who asks a hard question, is just the icing on the cake, and the proof of what he and his followers are going to get.
Censoring the media is an odd thing, because that is what the liberals always fear. How ironic. I guess when they only censor the stuff from the "other side" I guess it is ok for them.

Don't ever put your political soap box back under the bed, because you are right on target!!! i only have one oppositional point about something that you said, you called O/our country a "democracy" which it is not, it is actually called a "republic." As a matter of fact i was just looking at words that have these basis, such as democrat and republican. I do whole heartedly believe in the substance of what you had to say.
