It's quiet right now. i watch my 2 grandkids every Thursday night so that B can take Master's Photoshop class. They are all asleep, even Taylor. i really enjoy these nights with the kids. i love how Ally says "nana" and i love that Gavin likes being with me. He and i have our special time after Taylor and Ally are in the bed. It's either watching something about trains or it's watching Primeval. It's too bad Gavin's other "nana" didn't try to understand him. i don't demand affection from him. i don't need Gavin to meet my emotional needs. i'm a grown woman. Because i don't pester Gavin for "love", he gives it freely. i will admit that there is a small part of me that wishes she could see how Gavin is with me so i could go…"HAH!" Yeah, i know that is petty, but it's still there. All she had to do was accept Gavin for who he is and quit taking his autism personally. She acted like admitting Gavin was different was such a horrible, horrible thing. Is having autism a good thing? No…but that's just a part of Gavin and if you embrace him as he is…he is an amazing little boy. Unfortunately, the soon to be ex-asshole and his mother are still trying to buy the kids' love. Why don't people understand?
