A Nice Day

Today was a much better day. Taylor and i left Master home alone to relax and work on his train parts. He had customers yesterday and didn't really get a day off, so it was good for him to have some quiet time. Taylor and i went over to B's house and hung out and then went to the grocery store together.

B and i had a nice time together just talking and laughing. It's so nice to have her and the kids here. It's days like today that it really feels good to have her near. My daughters and i are really close and we can always talk about anything. Today was one of those days when we didn't have anything stressful going on…just some mother/daughter fun.

This evening, i've been lying on the couch dozing while Master is painting some of his layout. i just like hanging out with him even if we aren't doing the same thing or constantly talking. It's one of those "comfort" things. It's also been raining and storming here…something that doesn't usually happen in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. It's chilly too. i think the high today only got to the mid 60s. Nice lazy weather.
