Today was a Master/slave day. B watched Taylor while Master and i went down to Eugene for lunch and to go to the Toy Hobby store. Yes, Master bought all the train tracks for the HO gauge train he is going to build in the garage. Of course, B and i have to clean out the garage first.
Master used to build train models when he was a kid and having Gavin around has rekindled that love Master has for trains. i get excited just watching Master get excited about finding the layout and the trains he wants online.
He actually took a printout of the layout to the store with us today and got all the track that it will take to build it. Master knows i'm excited about building and painting the buildings for the layout so he ordered a building for me. Yes, i'm actually showing visible excitement…something Master says i have a hard time doing.
Anyway…i'm looking forward to cleaning out the garage and getting everything ready for Master's big train build. Gavin is going to be so excited as well.

It is really great to see you excited over my excitement. A couple years ago, you would have never expressed that.
I had a great day and look forward to many a nights working on the layout and then running it!
We need a diversion from work once in a while around here.
