River Day

Lord have mercy…it's been a hot, busy day. B and i took the kids down to the river and let them play. Taylor laid on a blanket in the shade, listening to her music like the Diva she is. How Ally and Gavin play in that cold freakin' water, i'll never know.

Gavin drug B in the river and i thought she would die. All she could talk about was how numb her body was. Gavin could care less. He runs in the river and plays without any hesitation. We spent about 4 hours there and it was well worth it.

It turned out to be a really relaxing day for B and i even though we had all the kids. They played and B and i took pictures, talked, and laughed. Somehow though, the walk back always seems like it takes twice as long to walk home as it does to walk to the river. It's actually only about a 6 block walk to the river, so it is a really nice outing for us.

Poor Master had to suffer at home with peace and quiet. i know it must have been so tough for him. *smiles*
