You know, the way some of these computers come in makes me wonder about what their house looks like. i am not talking about the dust inside a computer because a lot of people just don’t know they need blown out.
The ones i’m referring to the ones that come in with filth on the outside of the case. The ones where there is caked on dirt on the buttons except for the fingertip sized area of clean where they turn it on every day. That is just nasty (say with slight southern accent).
Today, someone brought in their monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Oh my God!!!! There is no way i can impart the nastiness (southern accent again) of this keyboard. There is dirt and grime caked on all the keys except the ones that are used frequently. This is a light colored keyboard. You can see the difference between the used keys and the grossness of the dirty keys. One look at the keyboard should tell these people that it needs cleaned…or at least wiped off.
Looking at that keyboard makes me wonder what on earth their house looks like. The monitor isn’t much better. However, it’s black and so you know if it’s showing grime, it must be even nastier (southern accent) that it looks. Of course, we will wipe it off before every hooking it up to their computer. i think we will have to call in a Hazmat team to hose it down. *gags*
i wonder if they will even notice it’s clean?
