Sometimes, the internet isn’t such a great thing to have at your fingertips. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much information.
Taylor is being referred up to the big teaching hospital in Portland next month because of her seizures. i had to get a copy of her latest brain MRI. They put it on a disc and sent it to me along with the report.
Now, i knew about the fact that her brain was slowly dying, but it’s just different when you see it in black and white. i went online and looked up the words that i didn’t know which just made things worse.
Then to top it all off, at the end of the report, almost as an after-thought, they mentioned that Taylor has a 12mm cyst at the bottom of her maxillary sinus cavity. i can’t believe that no one has even thought to mention this to me. This MRI was done back in 2007.
There are so many things going on right now that i am just feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. i know this will pass, but i hate the feeling anyway.

Good evening sister. It's sad when doctors only tell us things they think we need to know; which means they usually leave out 25% of things we should know.
Though i cannot make the hurt go away, my shoulders are strong enough to carry you for a while. And i think between Ms. Kathleen, we could carry you as long as you need.
The good thing is an "expert" will see her, and maybe we will find out something that can help.
It is hard knowing her condition(s) are degenerative, especially with the seizures.
Like I have said, we can just enjoy the time we have her on earth, considering she has enjoyed about 15 more years than doctors ever expected anyway!
I love you and I am here for you through all of this stuff,
Master
