Why do we submit? That is a question that gets asked a lot. Sometimes by vanilla people, but i think more “submissives” should ask themselves that question before stepping into the lifestyle.
What exactly is the motivation for seeking a Dominant/Master? When i surf the profiles on sites like Collarme.com and similar sites, i see so many submissive profiles that make me wonder what the hell they are doing calling themselves submissives. Then there are the others who’s lives are such a mess that you wonder if they realize that the only Dominants they are going to attract are the crazy, unsafe ones.
No “real” Dominant is going to want someone who doesn’t have the ability to control their own life. Yes, we all have issues. However, a “good” sub/slave is one who can control her own life, just chooses not to. She is also someone who doesn’t say they are looking for a Dominant and then the first things she lists on her profiles is the “You will/won’t” list if you want to be said Dominant.
Those profiles make me crazy. Well, okay, both types of profiles make me crazy. i think it makes it that much harder for the “true” sub/slave to find the right Master. The bitch sub gives all subs/slaves a bad name and the “my life is a mess…come save me” subs/slaves bring out the stupid Masters.
Yes, i know you are always going to have the fakes of all kinds on those type of sites, but i happen to know for a fact that you can find the right one for you if you can just wade through all the bullsh*t. It would be nice if there was a site that made you write an essay, of at least 750 words, about why you want to submit before letting you make a profile. I bet there would be a few less flakes. Even if you had some of the crazies sit down and write that essay, i bet their craziness would show through loud and clear in their essay.
i’m know i’m being silly now. i am not sure why those 2 types annoy me most of all. Maybe it’s because i take my life as a slave seriously. i’m not saying everyone has to live the way i do. However, you should at least be honest. If you are a bedroom submissive looking for casual sex, then just be honest. If you are a bitch, then be honest, i’m sure there is someone out there looking for a bitch. Different strokes for different folks. *smiles*
Even if you’re life is a huge mess right now, be honest about that. i’m sure there is some Dominant out there who wants to be a knight in shining armor and ride to your rescue. i found my knight, though i didn’t NEED to be rescued…i just wanted to be. *laughs*

It is a shame that I/individuals don't have the abilites to be honest on those sites. The I/individuals that are portraid in those profiles are living a fairy tale existence on the Internet. On the Internet honesty is at a premium because sadly so many people use it as a means to do or be who they think they are and not who they are, if that makes any sense.
As in any area of life, yes, these alleged sub/slaves give the rest of us a bad name. But then so does the bad seeds in any social or racial group, I'm thinking thats one of the ways prejudice began. Judging a few and applying there actions to many. Sorry, I think I'm getting a little off topic here.
