i’ve seen many “slave profiles” on various sites. They say that they will surrender everything to their potential Master…but will they really?
If they have children, will they surrender decisions regarding the various aspects of raising those children? Personally, i think it all comes down to making the right decision in finding a Master.
i used to tell all potential Masters that they could control all aspects of my life, but my child was off limits. Of course, i’m not talking about sexual things. That’s a no-brainer and would never happen with any Master that i was with. i just thought i would throw that in there for those that were thinking in that direction.
In my case, i have a special needs child and i thought that it was my “right” to make all the decisions regarding her care. That is what i told all the Dominants that i talked to. Believe it or not, most said okay and that left me feeling a little weird. i think, deep down, i wanted Someone to say, “No, if you trust me with your life, why not your child’s?”.
Things changed when i met Master. i gave Him my usual speech and He said the above to me. At first, i was taken aback. i thought “wait, you don’t know her history or anything about her medical issues, how can you start deciding what is best for her?”.
Now, i have a completely different mind set. Master depends on me to give Him the details of whatever the medical issue is, what the doctors have to say, and things like that. However, ultimately, the decision lies with Him. To be honest, i find great comfort in that. For the past 17 years of her life, i’ve had to make all the medical decisions, some of which were life or death decisions and i do not exaggerate that. Her biological father could not handle it and didn’t want to take that responsibility.
So now Master not only took on the responsibility for His slave’s life, He’s taken on that of my daughter. She calls Him Daddy…something neither of us taught her. i think deep down in her being, she knew what an awesome Man He is and it felt right for her.
We are facing a big decision regarding her health and well-being right now and i can tell you that it feels like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. i no longer have to shoulder the burden of those decisions on my own. Master is my strength and He adds His wisdom to these situations.
Okay, so now i’m back to my original question. Can you, as a slave, truly surrender all? Can you give up the final say in the raising of your children? If you can’t, then maybe you do not totally trust the Master that you are with. In my heart, i believe that if you don’t trust the Dominant completely, then you do not have an absolute Master/slave relationship. If you hold back something in your life, and don’t give up the control to Your Master, then i’m not sure you should call yourself slave.
i know that last statement will bother some, but it’s my opinion. i truly believe that absolute trust is what makes the Master/slave relationship so special. If you are a mother and you hand over your life to someone else, by extension you are handing over the well-being of your child. So, you better make damn sure that man is worthy of that. i know that i found One who is. Without Him, i think i would have fallen apart during this last year when Taylor’s health has been bad.
This is just something to think about if you consider yourself a slave and are looking for an absolute power exchange relationship. Don’t go around saying you would surrender all, if you aren’t truly willing to do so.
