A Close Call

It was a scary day today. Master had a seminar in Portland to attend and on the way up there, he and his co-worker were in a wreck. Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt, though Master and Lana are both suffering from whiplash type pain. All of it caused by some woman who decided where she was going was more important than anyone else on the highway. She even had the nerve to flip Master off before cutting him off and then causing the pileup.

We also got lucky in that the van only has very minor damage and everyone was able to drive away from the accident. i can tell you that my heart skipped several beats when Master called to tell me he was on his way home and that he was in an accident. i’m not sure what i would do without Master in my life. He is so much a part of my life now that it would just be very difficult to adjust to life without him, especially if he was taken in such a stupid way.

There was definitely a Higher Power on that road and i truly believe that. i just can’t say how grateful that i am that Master was able to drive home today. He is the glue that holds my life together the way it’s always meant to be held together. i’ve always been a survivor, but with Master i don’t have to be anymore. i can just be happy and enjoy my life without constant worries. i didn’t realize how much that means to me until today. Being happy everyday beats being a survivor any day.
